“History of Mercy” Museum to Open in Kurgan

October 31, 2014. With the blessing of Archbishop Konstantin, the “History of Mercy” museum will open on the premises of the Church of the Port Arthur Icon of the Holy Theotokos in Kurgan.

The website of the Diocese of Kurgan and Shadrinsk has reported that the opening ceremony of the museum will take place at 41 building, Yastrzhembsky Street, Kurgan, on November 1,  2014.

The museum was founded thanks to the Sisterhood of Mercy in honor of the Venerable Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth Fedorovna, administered by the Social Department of the Diocese of Kurgan and Shadrinsk.

The history of the Society of Mercy in Russia and the Kurgan region will be on exhibition at the museum.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
