On 6 October 2015, a regular session of the Inter-Council Presence Commission on Theology took place at Ss Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies.

Presiding over the meeting was Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Commission on Theology, head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, chairman of the Synodal Biblical and Theological Commission.

Among those who took part in the session were Bishop Konstantin of Zaraysk, rector of the Kolomna Theological Seminary; archpriest Dimitry Kiryanov, head of the Chair of Theology of the Tobolsk Theological Seminary; archpriest Kirill Kopeykin, associate professor of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy; archpriest Konstantin Polskov, vice-rector for academic research of St Tikhon’s Orthodox University; archpriest Vladimir Shmaliy, vice-rector for academic research of Ss Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies; Mr. Konstantin Antonov, head of the Chair of Philosophy and Religious Aspects of Culture of St Tikhon’s Orthodox University; Professor Emeritus Mikhail Ivanov, vice-rector for education of the Moscow Theological Academy; Mr. Vladimir Katasonov, head of the Chair of Philosophy of Ss Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies; and Mr. Alexander Krylezhev, a staff member of the Secretariat of the Synodal Biblical and Theological Commission.

The participants in the meeting considered a draft document on the Church’s Prayerful Care for the Unbaptized.

The Commission members also heard reports by the heads of working groups on such topics as faith and science, theology as a science and its place in knowledge system, and theological understanding of bioethics.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
