“Every person has a chance to say something that becomes known to many other people, especially in social nets. If we examine these spontaneous discussions, we will see the human vanity fair,” the patriarch said after the Liturgy at St. Andrew Monastery in Moscow, the Russian Church reports on Thursday at its website.
According to the primate, participants in the discussions aim at “representing themselves more clever, smart, acute than others,” rather then finding the truth.
“Sometimes people, who are not ready to participate in it, got melted in these discussions where participants try to show themselves, not to search for the truth,” he said.
According to the patriarch, many people consider them weak, others think they are old-fashioned, not mastering the skills and means of informational struggle, but “in fact, they are people who do not want to fell themselves game pieces.”
