Romanian Orthodox Church to Mark Patriarch Daniel’s 12th Enthronement Anniversary

On Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, the Romanian Orthodox Church will celebrate the 12th enthronement anniversary of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel.

On this occasion, beginning with 9.00 a.m. His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel will preside over the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest.

Participants will include the members of the Holy Synod, the members of the Standing National Church Council and of Standing Council of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, collaborators, state and local officials, personalities of public and cultural life in Romania.

Following the Divine Liturgy, at 11.00 a.m., a Te Deum service will be officiated as thanksgiving brought to God for the benefactions poured out upon the Romanian Orthodox Church and His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel during his 12-year patriarchal stewardship.

A festive meeting will take place at the Europa Christiana Hall of the Patriarchal Palace, during which congratulatory messages will be read out by the representatives of the state and local authorities, and of other public institutions.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
