Conference of Orthodox Bishops in Austria begins its 11th session

On March 21, the Conference of Orthodox Bishops in Austria began its 11th session in Vienna.

The Russian Orthodox Church is represented by Bishop Tikhon of Podolsk, administrator of the diocese of Vienna and Austria, the website of the Moscow Northeast Vicariate reports.

The spring session of the Conference is chaired by Metropolitan Arsenios of Austria (Patriarchate of Constantinople). It is attended by Metropolitan Isaac of Germany and Central Europe (Patriarch of Antioch), Bishop Andrew of Austria and Switzerland (Serbian Orthodox Church), Bishop Lazar (Georgian Orthodox Church), and representatives of the Austrian parishes of the Bulgarian and Romanian Orthodox Churches.

The session approved the plans for youth and education work and adopted a joint statement of the Orthodox bishops in Austria on the refugees situation.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
