Easter cakes delivered to Russian soldiers in Syria

Moscow, May 4, Interfax - Representatives of the Military Fraternity delivered Easter cakes to airbase Hemeimeem for Russian soldiers in Syria, first deputy chairman of the Military Fraternity senator Dmitry Sablin told Interfax.

“Easter cakes will be blessed in a military camp-church and then given to the soldiers,” he said.

They also delivered ribbons of St. George and audio amplifiers for the Victory Day parade on May 9 in which military machinery and aviation will take part together with parade crews.
