“The parish will control delivery of funds and transportation of donated medicaments and the things they need. We are obliged to give food and water to those who are hungry and thirsty, dress the wounds and scabs to the sick and injured, save precious lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ,” Rector of the church, ex-secretary of the Odessa Diocese Archpriest Andrey Novikov told Interfax-Religion.

Noting that “scale of the humanitarian disaster in Novorossia is enormous,” he reminded that only for the last days over 30,000 refugees from Ukraine came to the Rostov Region.

“It reminds elimination of Orthodox Serbian Krajina by Croatian neo-Nazi in Croatia in the 1990-s when about 200,000 of Serbs who stayed alive were forced to leave Croatia for Serbia,” the interviewee of the agency said.
