On Friday, October 16, 2015, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Nikon of Ufa and Sterlitamaksk and His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan along with clergymen of the Ufa Diocese and delegates of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, who are accompanying the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign.”

At the end of Liturgy, Vladyka Nikolai, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, congratulated Metropolitan Nikon on his 65th birthday, 25th anniversary of his episcopal consecration and 25th year at the Ufa Cathedra. With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Vladyka Nicholas then presented Metropolitan Nikon with the Medal of the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God “of the Sign,” First Degree.

On October 17, the miracle-working icon will be brought to the Neftekamsk Diocese.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.
