It grieved my heart to learn the sad news that the fire had broken out in Abu-Seifein Church in Cairo, killing dozens of parishioners and injuring many people.

May God the Lover of mankind show mercy to the souls of the victims and help all those affected by the calamity to endure this affliction with fortitude, patience, Christian hope and firmness of spirit.
