Participate in the Ancient Faith Kids Walk-a-thon This Fall!

Pravmir.com team | 05 August 2022

Earlier this summer, Ancient Faith Ministries announced the formation of Ancient Faith Kids, a new division dedicated to creating content for children ages 4-14.

Ancient Faith Kids is in the process of producing 100 short videos that can be used by Sunday School teachers, parents, homeschoolers, and the children themselves to learn about our Orthodox Faith in a fun way. These videos and other specially created content will be available free to children and families on the Ancient Faith Kids platform, currently under construction. (View one of the videos)

While Ancient Faith is working with content creators to produce these videos, they are also raising funds to support their purchase. Videos like this take expertise, equipment, time, and love to create, and your support in raising the funds to purchase the videos from their makers will help make this possible.

Consider organizing (or participating in) a walk-a-thon at your parish to help us raise those needed funds.

Your walk-a-thon can happen on any convenient date during the month of October (or during the first two weeks of November, if preferable). Just let Ancient Faith know you’re doing it by signing up and they will provide materials for your use, including posters, organizing instructions, and pledge sheets for participants.

A walk-a-thon would be a wonderful way to show support for Ancient Faith Kids, enjoy fellowship with your fellow parishioners, and help yourself stay in shape as well!

Thanks in advance for your consideration, and don’t forget to share this information with people in your parish who’ll be interested in organizing an Ancient Faith Kids Walk-a-thon!

Ancient Faith Kids Walk-a-thon Information

Since you are here…

…we do have a small request. More and more people visit Orthodoxy and the World website. However, resources for editorial are scarce. In comparison to some mass media, we do not make paid subscription. It is our deepest belief that preaching Christ for money is wrong.

Having said that, Pravmir provides daily articles from an autonomous news service, weekly wall newspaper for churches, lectorium, photos, videos, hosting and servers. Editors and translators work together towards one goal: to make our four websites possible - Pravmir.ru, Neinvalid.ru, Matrony.ru and Pravmir.com. Therefore our request for help is understandable.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
