Archdiocese Delegation to the Antiochian Unity Conference in Lebanon

Natalya Mihailova | 23 June 2014
Your prayers are requested for all our Antiochian hierarchs, clergy, and laity who are traveling to the Middle East for the Antiochian Unity Conference at the Balamand Seminary. Preparations are extremely important. Many of our Antiochian hierarchs from the US will be attending the conference. Pray for their safe travels and fruitful deliberations.

In addition to our ten delegates, four of our bishops will be attending: His Eminence, Archbishop Joseph; His Grace, Bishop Alexander; His Grace, Bishop John; and His Grace, Bishop Nicholas.

Please keep the delegation in your prayers as they travel and deliberate during this historic conference.

For those of you with Noursat (Telelumeire), the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy on June 29th will be broadcast live at 10:00am from the University of Balamand in Lebanon. The liturgy will take place in the outdoor stadium at the Balamand. In addition to the delegations from all over the world, faithful from all over Syria and Lebanon will be coming to this historic liturgy with our Patriarch and most all of the Metropolitans, Archbishops and Bishops of the Antiochian See to celebrate patronal feast of the Patriarchate, the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul.

Since you are here…

…we do have a small request. More and more people visit Orthodoxy and the World website. However, resources for editorial are scarce. In comparison to some mass media, we do not make paid subscription. It is our deepest belief that preaching Christ for money is wrong.

Having said that, Pravmir provides daily articles from an autonomous news service, weekly wall newspaper for churches, lectorium, photos, videos, hosting and servers. Editors and translators work together towards one goal: to make our four websites possible - Pravmir.ru, Neinvalid.ru, Matrony.ru and Pravmir.com. Therefore our request for help is understandable.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
