Patriarch Kirill urges to help victims of the flood in Serbia

Moscow, May 21, Interfax - Patriarch Kirill addresses words of support to Serbian people, who have faced a natural calamity.

“A flood of grand force has already taken dozens of human lives. Houses and roads are destroyed, many people have lost everything they had,” the Patriarch said in his address spread by the patriarchal press service on Wednesday.

According to him, the Serbian disaster reminds Russians of the recent tragedy in Krymsk.

Patriarch Kirill urges all who cares help “our Serbian brothers” and informs that the Representation of the Russian Church in Belgrade and the Moscow Patriarchate in Moscow start fundraising and organize possible help to ease sufferings of fraternal Serbian people.
