Thousands of Orthodox Christians take part in celebrations of saint canonisation

Sofia. Thousands of Orthodox Christians took Friday part in the celebrations dedicated to the canonisation of Saint Seraphim, Wonderworker of Sofia, FOCUS News Agency reported.

The event turned into a great spiritual feast for the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, the Russian Orthodox Church, and the entire Orthodox world.

The Bulgarian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Church will commemorate Saint Seraphim on February 26, which is the day of his dormition, after his canonisation.
