A new priest ordained in the Russian Church on the Balearic Islands

On March 31, 2013, the second Sunday of the Great Lent, on the feast day of St Gregory Palamas, Archbishop of Thessalonica, Bishop Nestor of Korsun served a Divine Liturgy in the parish of Nativity of Christ in the town of Palma De Mallorca in Spain, reports the website of the diocese of Korsun.

The Rector of the parish, Archimandrite Makary (Roseyo), Priest Alexandros Kordos (Patriarchate of Constantinople), Deacon Nikolai Rebinder and Deacon Viktor Serednitsky concelebrated with the Bishop.

At the Liturgy the head of the diocese of Korsun ordained Deacon Viktor Serednitsky, a Cleric of the parish of Nativity of Christ on Mallorca, to the priesthood.

After the service Bishop Nestor gave a speech as hierarch to those gathered in the Church.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
