On March 16, 2016, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR), received Archbishop Paolo Pezzi, ordinary of the Archdiocese of the Mother of God and president of the Conference of Catholic Bishops in Russia, at the parish house of the church of Our Lady the Joy to All the Afflicted-in-Bolshaya-Ordynka.

It was a working meeting. The sides discussed the current state of and prospects for cooperation between the two Christian confessions in Russia.

Participating in the meeting was also Hieromonk Stephan (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christians relations.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
