Patriarch Kirill Celebrates His 74th Birthday Today

On November 20, 2020, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia officiated the Divine Liturgy at the church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in the skete of the same name near Peredelkino, reports the official website of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Today the Primate of the Russian Church celebrates his 74th birthday.

During the Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill offered fervent prayers for the newly reposed His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and Metropolitan Theophan of Kazan and Tatarstan, who died this morning.

At the end of the Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrated the Litia for the late Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the head of the Tatarstan Metropolitanate.
