Participating will be the members of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, who are convening for a regular session, as well as the cathedral’s clergymen and choir. Afterwards, all-night vigil will commence.
The next morning, the greeting of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, will be at 9:30 am, followed by Divine Liturgy.
Clergymen and the faithful of the parishes and monasteries of the Eastern seaboard of the USA are invited to participate in the celebrations and delve into the history and legacy of the Russian Church Abroad, remember the late primates and venerate the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God.
