Metropolitan Hilarion meets with Primate of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem

On August 5, 2021, with a blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, made a working trip to Jordan.

In the capital city of Amman, Metropolitan Hilarion met with His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine. The DECR chairman conveyed to His Beatitude warm greetings from the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church. In their talk, they discussed several issues of mutual concern including the situation in the world in view of the coronavirus pandemic and the anti-epidemic restrictions affecting the ordinary course of church life.

Participating in the meeting was also Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations.

For example, 5 euros a month is it a lot or little? A cup of coffee? It is not that much for a family budget, but it is a significant amount for Pravmir.

If everyone reading Pravmir could donate 5 euros a month, they would contribute greatly to our ability to spread the word of Christ, Orthodoxy, life's purpose, family and society.
