Moscow, July 6, Interfax - The total number of believers who came to bow to the relics of St. Nicholas, brought from Italy, has reached 1.5 million, according to the headquarters in charge of organizing pilgrimage to the holy relics.
Just on July 5, over 50,000 people came to the holy relics.
As of mid Thursday, the waiting time in line to view the holy relics is ten hours.
The relics of Nicholas the Wonderworker, which have left the city of Bari for the first time in 930 years, have been in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior for 45 days now. They will leave for St. Petersburg on July 13.
